This week, we are diving into the concept of “Being a People of Presence,” exploring what it means to stay in the presence of God. As a church, we’re in a series that will guide us through the end of the year, setting the stage for where God is leading us in the future—focusing on belonging, believing, and becoming. The heart of this message challenges us to evaluate what draws us closer to God and what pulls us away.

Through the stories of Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, Esau, and Jacob, we see how fear, jealousy, and misunderstanding of God’s timing can lead us away from His presence. Today’s message emphasizes the importance of guarding our eyes, ears, and desires as they influence our walk with God. We are called to focus on Christ, who, like Jacob, clothes us in His righteousness so we can receive God’s blessings fully.

As we journey together, this is a call to repentance and alignment with God’s will. The more we focus on Him, the more our desires are transformed, and we become who we are meant to be in Christ. This is an invitation for us to reflect on how we live, speak, and move—so that through our transformed lives, we influence the world around us for the Kingdom of God.

Let us be encouraged to press into God’s Word and His Spirit, knowing He is ready to lead us into greater blessings.
