Loving Without Loopholes

Underneath the language that Jesus uses throughout his sermon on the mount, he is calling us forward into a life totally formed around the values of the Kingdom of God. The law of Moses prescribed a way of life, but people became lawyers, trying to work the loopholes. When we take his words to heart, Jesus effectively closes all the loopholes, calling us totally into the heart of God.
