Joy For All The People

We all know the Christmas hymn, “Joy To The World”. We can hardly hear the title of the songs without the infectious melody floating through our minds. The word “joy” itself invokes images of delight, laughter and happiness. But it’s a concept that seem to be losing cultural currency. We might say that our world seems a little short on joy these days. We may even be tempted to cast a cynical glance in the direction of the joyous. And yet the angels’ proclamation remains true: “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.”

This week we explore the generous joy of God, enough to fill the whole world.
