A Friend Like No Other

Friendship comes cheap these days.  Friendship has been relegated to the social media platforms and algorithms, and as such, it can feel shallow and vacant. They say that if you can count your real friends on one hand, then you are rich, indeed.  Friendship is a rare commodity. We are all looking for it and longing for someone to do life with.  Does such a friend even exist?  Actually, it does.  That ‘friend like no other’ is Jesus, the one who ‘sticks closer than a brother.’

There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. Prov. 18:24
