Jonah – Misguided Patriotism

O how things go awry when one forgets the essence of who God is. It’s the essence that guides how we view God, how we view others, and how we view ourselves. While he may have been considered a Hebrew of Hebrews, Jonah’s love for God somehow shifted. The shift wasn’t sudden, rather, it occurred gradually over a number of months and years.
