Waiting in His Presence

Preacher:
Service Type:

As we continue into the new year, Tabitha builds upon last week’s message, inviting us into intentional surrender—a posture of yielding to Emmanuel, God with us.

Drawing from Isaiah 30-32, she reminds us of the heart of God—one full of grace and compassion. We are called to examine the lenses through which we view the world, staying vigilant against false masters that drain us rather than restore us. The Lord restores; He doesn’t deplete. True transformation isn’t achieved through striving, but through resting in His presence.

We are offered an invitation into a deeper relationship with God, an opportunity to realign our hearts. Are we taking refuge in the shadow of the Almighty, or under something else? Are we creating space for God’s presence to come, heal, and lead us?

Key Scriptures: Isaiah 30:18, Isaiah 30:15, Psalm 91
Challenge for the Week: Set aside time to be still before the Lord—without an agenda. Simply wait on Him and let His presence be your strength.
