This month, the Church around the world will be celebrating Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit. God with us. God within us! Throughout May we will consider the endless beauty of the Holy Spirit.

Of all the words that could have been used to describe the coming of the Spirit, Jesus uses the word gift. It’s a word that means something freely given without reason or cause, which means it is given from a place of love. When seen through that lens, everything changes. Come, Holy Spirit!
