Will You Recognize God?

For the next two Sundays we are hitting pause on our journey through Jesus’ sermon on the mount as we set our hearts towards Easter, remembering Jesus’ death and celebrating his resurrection.  And so we begin with Holy Week and Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. His followers had so many expectations of things they were hoping for, but you have to wonder if deep down they were trying to make sense of this event mixed with Jesus’ talk of death, his miracles, and the disgust the religious elite had towards him and his followers.  What expectations might they have had?
