Before We Begin, There is Something You Should Know

Do you remember the Canadian Armed Forces tagline in their commercials – “There’s no life like it!” That statement is both accurate and not accurate. It’s accurate in the sense that there is no other occupation like it, but if you’re looking for the easy life, then you don’t want to choose that one. Living the Jesus Way is a life like no other, but don’t think for a second that it’s the easy life. And Scripture basically says just that. We choose to follow Jesus, not because he offers an easy life, but because there really is ‘no life like it’! Before we begin our journey into Jesus’ manifesto, let’s understand what we’re saying ‘yes’ to.
