I’m not sure if you’ve noticed or not, but what we call ‘church’ and we read about Jesus and the church in the New Testament, are not the same thing. The church is not a crowd of people at the boarding gate, waiting to board a plane to heaven, piloted by Jesus. King Jesus brought his cosmic mission to Earth to rescue people. Those rescued, join him in the mission and become rescuers. Welcome to the cosmic adventure!
