Wait. Trust. Live. Repeat

One of the memories many of us have of Christmas when we were children was waiting to open our gifts on Christmas day. Sometimes the wait could be excruciating…well, as a child it can feel like that. But that experience of waiting also carries over into our grownup years.

In our faith journey with God, we have times in our life where we need God to answer a dilemma, to come and rescue us from a situation, or for a prophetic word that someone spoke to us to come to fruition. And we wait. For centuries followers of God waited for Messiah to come…and they waited, and waited, and in the meantime…they lived their lives.
